Bernetha Hall Flemming

BLYTHEWOOD: Celebration of Life Services for Mrs. Bernetha Hall Flemming were held 1 p.m., Monday, June 18, 2012 at Reid Chapel A.M.E. Church with interment following in Memorial Gardens of Columbia. Visitation was held Sunday from 3 to 9 p.m. and the family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m.

Bernetha was born in Swansea, South Carolina on December 14, 1935. She was the second eldest of nine children born to the late Dolphis (Jackie) Hall and Inez Rumph Hall. Bernetha departed this earthly life on June 11, 2012. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Franklin D. Flemming; three sons, Carl (Carmen), Cedric (Alice) Flemming and Ruffin Ali Flemming; three grandchildren, Carl II, Courtney and Cameron Flemming; a great grandson, Omari Flemming; three brothers, Dolphis (Vivian) Hall, Tom (Yvonne) Hall, Stanley (Linda) Hall; two sisters, Mary Ann Smith and Diane Hall; two brother-in-laws, James Lee (Janie) Flemming, Charles (Barbara) Flemming; four sister-in-laws, Iva Mae Hall, Florence Flemming, Ruby Washington, Hazel Flemming, and a host of caring nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will treasure precious memories of Mrs. Bernetha Hall Flemming.
