Thirty members of the XYZ Seniors from Shandon Presbyterian Church in Columbia enjoy tea and lunch at the soon-to-open Cornwallis House Tea Company at 141 S. Congress Street in Winnsboro.
The group began the day with a tour of Donnie and Pam Laird’s home on High Street, then visited the historic Cornwallis House, then on to Kitty Rabb’s back yard on Hudson Street. After lunch, the group shopped in the Yellow Daisy, The 145 Club and Abba’s Ice Cream and Gifts. They then took in the Smithsonian exhibit at the Fairfield County Museum. The final stop was at the Garden Street home of Brother Lyles to see his back yard vegetable garden.
