Blythewood: Mrs. Billy Louise Bradham, 89, of Blythewood, died Monday, July 30, 2012. Born in Summerton, S.C. on Nov. 22, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Cameron Bismark Godwin and Anna Marion Wilkie Godwin. Billy was a charter member of St. Luke United Methodist Church and past president of the United Methodist Women. She a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and loved ballroom dancing and bowling.
Survivors include her daughter, Caroline (Tim) Burleson of Lexington; son, Cameron (Cheryl) Bradham of Blythewood; brother, Mark Godwin of Charleston; sister, Francis Ward of Darlington; grandchildren, Anita, Greg, Amanda, Mark, Chad and Chris; as well as seven great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Billy was preceded in death by her husband, Delmar Carl Bradham Sr. and her son, Delmar Carl Bradham Jr.
The funeral service for Mrs. Bradham was held at noon, Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2012, at Shives Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel, in Columbia. The Rev. Clyde Aiken and the Rev. Rex Wilson officiated. The family received friends prior to the service. Burial followed at Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to St. Luke United Methodist Church, 701 Mason Rd., Columbia, S.C. 29203.
