A Sunday afternoon reception was held at Blythewood High School to showcase BHS students who participated in a community service and career mentoring program during the fall semester. Junior Courtney Richards, center, shares a portfolio of work she performed with the Youth Arbitration Department and the SC DARE Training Center at the Richland County Sheriff’s Department. Shown with her are Lt. Kim Myers, the Youth Arbitration Director, left, and Deputy Arlene Sharpe of Blythewood, Director of  the SC DARE Training Center. BHS teacher Kim Stokes oversees the program.
