Alex Riley, Blythewood native and sports writer for the Wyoming Tribune Eagle, shows off one of his sports columns that was named to the top 10 in sports column writing in the national Associated Press Sports Editors contest held recently in Orlando, Fla. The winner and five finalists will be named in April. A graduate of the University of South Carolina with a degree in journalism, Riley has won numerous sports writing awards and usually covers the Road to Omaha for The Voice.
