Bill Rogers (left), Executive Director of the S.C. Press Association, congratulates James Denton, editor of The Voice, at last weekend’s annual SCPA awards banquet. Denton was awarded first place for Editorial or Column in Support of FOI/Open Government Issues. The Voice also won third place for Best Newspaper Publication in its division, while publisher Barbara Ball won third place for Best Published News Story.
