The Winnsboro Lions Club recently named Reid Johnson (second from right) as their 2013 scholarship recipient. Johnson is a recent graduate of Richard Winn Academy and plans on attending Limestone College. His essay was chosen as the best entry in this year’s Lions Scholarship program. Each year the Winnsboro Lions award a $750 scholarship and alternate between a Richard Winn Academy and a Fairfield Central High School graduate. Reid is the son of Eric and Gina Johnson and is shown with Lion President Gene Clemens (left), Lion Treasurer Teresa Reed and his mother Gina (right).
