Ashley Ghere, The Voice’s graphic designer, took first place in six categories, and second and third in two other categories, in the 2012 S.C. Press Association’s Palmy Awards for advertising design. Ghere’s ad for Companion Animal Hospital won Best Overall Ad in the weekly division. Ghere was presented with her awards Monday by SCPA Executive Director Bill Rogers (right) and Alana Ritchie, SCPA Director of Advertising. See some of Ghere’s award-winning work on page 6.
