The unveiling of “The Cooks of Fairfield County’ cookbook was well attended on Sunday when a hundred or so folks from Fairfield County, Blythewood and beyond showed up to sample desserts made from recipes in the cookbook. Phyllis Gutierrez of Ridgeway samples a square of ‘sawdust’ cake while Norma Branham of Winnsboro, Denise Jones of Blythewood, and Winnsboro residents Terry Vickers, Mary Gail Douglass and Pat and Hal Frisch show off some of the own desserts. The Frisches are the proprietors of Honeysuckle Acres where the event was held.
