BLYTHEWOOD – The Richland County Sheriff’s Department will host the grand opening of its new Region 6 headquarters in downtown Blythewood on Monday, with a reception and light refreshments from 4-8 p.m. A ribbon cutting is scheduled at 6 p.m. with Sheriff Leon Lott, his staff and Town of Blythewood officials in attendance. The community is invited to stop by and meet the Region 6 staff. The headquarters is located at 118 McNulty Road in Blythewood in the former Ace Hardware Building.
