The USC equestrian team invites the Blythewood and Fairfield communities next Saturday to its annual Equifest Kids Day at One Wood Farm in Blythewood, as well as an exciting competition with last year’s national champion, No. 3 Auburn, in USC’s last home competition of the regular season. For a thrilling day of horseshowing, the day starts at 10 a.m. and admission for the whole family is free both for the competition and all kids’ activities. Junior rider Katherine Schmidt, above, who scored the meet-winning point against Texas A&M last Saturday will be competing against Auburn.
