WINNSBORO – A graveside service for Mr. Ray Hammons, 74, will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 16, 2014 at Stephen Greene Memorial Garden Cemetery.
Mr. Hammons passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2014. Born in Fairfield County, Ray was the son of Eathel Ray and Hazel Bunch Hammons Sr. Mr. Hammons is survived by a large loving family, including his dear wife, Clara J. Hammons; two sons, Michael and Jason Hammons; one daughter, Martha Hammons; two step-daughters, Debbie Penn and Susan Mincey; two brothers, David and Jimmy Hammons; one sister, Mary Hammons Benjamin, and many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Hammons is predeceased by one son, Timothy Hammons.
Memorials may be sent in Ray’s memory to the American Heart Association, 190 Knox Abbott Dr. Cayce, S.C. 29033.
