The ground cover of hail in this Blythewood back yard resulted from a sudden storm that tore through Blythewood and Fairfield County last Friday afternoon leaving considerable damage to vehicles and roofs. Trees were downed throughout the rural areas and, according to Ashley Oaks resident Malcolm Gordge, more than 100 trees were felled by the storm in his neighborhood.
