Winnsboro – A Memorial service with military honors for Mr. Willie Albert Cail, age 82, will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 18, 2014 at Fort Jackson National Cemetery, conducted by the Rev. Jimmie Burroughs. Visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. on the day of the service at Pope Funeral Home, 521 S. Congress St. in Winnsboro.
Born in Laurens, S.C., Mr. Cail was the son of Milton Carter and Mellie Brinson Cail. He was an avid outdoorsman and will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
In addition to his loving wife, Mrs. Anne Adair Cail, Mr. Cail is survived by one daughter, Marie Cail Taylor of Columbia, one brother, Bobby G. Cail of San Antonio, Texas and one grandson, Joseph I. Taylor. In addition to his parents, Mr. Cail is predeceased by one brother, Mr. Harold C. Cail.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the American Heart Association or the charity of one’s choice.
