Cross Country: Bengals Outpace Ridge View

BLYTHEWOOD – After facing some adversity at last weekend’s Coaches Classic, the Blythewood boys cross country team returned to form in a home meet Sept. 17. The boys won the meet with a nearly perfect score of 16 points to outpace Ridge View (44), Eau Claire (92) and Fairfield Central (103).

Leading the way for the boys was senior TJ Kirby, who placed first overall in a time of 17 minutes and 9 seconds. Other top finishers included James Palmer (second, 17:28), Brandon Hardwick (third, 17:35), Amir McCall (fourth, 17:39) and Devin Lowry (sixth, 18:04).

 

The boys return to action next Wednesday for a home meet with Spring Valley.
