The Man for the Job

Take the politics out of the 6th Circuit Solicitor’s race and it is nothing more than a job interview. You are the interviewers for that job and the candidates are presenting their resumes. If it were a job interview, who would you hire?

I have over 12 years of handling major criminal cases throughout our state. My opponent has barely three years as an attorney. I have put drug dealers, domestic abusers and murderers in jail. My opponent has never handled a murder case. I have been trained to deal with and am certified to handle death penalty cases. My opponent has no such training or certification. As Chief Prosecutor for Fairfield County, I took a backlog of some 600 cases and reduced that to less than 400 within 12 months. In my opponent’s tenure as Assistant Solicitor for Lancaster County, the backlog has increased from around 3,800 case in 2011 to some 4,000 cases in 2014 and 72 percent of those cases are over one year old, the worst in the State.

The Solicitor is responsible for seeking justice for ALL of the people of Lancaster, Chester and Fairfield counties. I will be unbiased, objective, and fair to ALL of the people of Lancaster, Chester and Fairfield. It is not about political affiliation and it is not about where you are from, it is about seeking justice.

If it were a job interview, who would you hire?
