Annette Clowney

WINNSBOROFuneral services for Louise Annette Baker Clowney, age 99, will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, May 24, 2015 at Lebanon Presbyterian Church conducted by the Rev. Lane Keister. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church fellowship hall.

Mrs. Clowney entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, May 19, 2015. Born in Marion County, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Bright and Louise Stanley Baker. She was a member of Lebanon Presbyterian Church where she was a member of the Friendship circle. She was also a member of the Woodbine Garden Club and the Fairfield Union FCL.

Survivors include two sons, Samuel Stanley (Marjorie) Clowney and James Edward (Frances) Clowney; three daughters, Jane Lee-Bonnett, Mary (Bob) Hilton and Lenora (Bill) Bundy; daughter-in-law, Reba Clowney; 14 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, William Meador Clowney Sr., she is predeceased by two sons, Benjamin Brice Clowney Sr. and William Meador Clowney Jr.

The family would like to thank all former caregivers, nurses, doctors and the staff of NHC Parklane for their compassionate and loving care for Mimi.

In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be sent in Annette’s memory to the Lebanon PCA Church cemetery fund, 8002 Newberry Road, Winnsboro, S.C. 29180.
