COLUMBIA – The Blythewood boys cross country team placed 10th in a 50 team race on Saturday at the Sandhills Invitational. The Bengals were led by junior Josh Bowers, who finished 13th overall in a time of 16 minutes and 24 seconds. Other top finishers for the Bengals were Caleb Wilson (17:25), KJ Mack (17:41), Will Beacham (17:49) and Amir McCall (17:58).
The JV team placed 11th overall, and they were led by senior Luke DuCharme, who finished in a time of 18 minutes and 45 seconds.
The Bengals were slated to return to action Oct. 22 for the Region Championship meet.
