The managers of the three local First Citizens Banks presented $300 to Kim McMahon of Blythewood, the lucky winner of the Independent Voice’s annual College Bowl U-Pick-‘Em contest. McMahon, who is a longtime customer of the First Citizens in Blythewood, correctly picked the winners of 13 of the 16 college bowls . . . but so did two other contest entrants. McMahon, however, won the tie breaker with the number, 65, which was the closest of the three winners to the total number of points scored in the national championship game between Clemson University and The University of Alabama.
