Seven students from the Blythewood High School Choir were among the 425 students selected by audition at Winthrop University March 3-5 for the 2016 S.C. All-State Choir. Almost 2,000 students auditioned. This marks the second year BHS students have been selected, and the first time in school history that female students were selected. The seven students include, from left: Katherine Kimbrough, junior soprano; Kalen Mattocks, junior tenor; William Norman, sophomore tenor; Kristin Claiborne, director; Anthony Sampedro, senior bass; Emily Brinson, senior soprano; Taylor Farmer, senior alto and Haven Davis, junior bass.
