Joe Trapp and his granddaughter Laura Lynn Benson, 6, start the summer off right, picking chocolate cherry tomatoes and bell peppers from his raised beds of tomato trees in Blythewood. Trapp also grows corn,Blue Lake and foot-long green beans, okra, blueberries, figs, muscadines and other fruits and vegetables in his several-acre back garden.
