A Good Read –

Fiona Smith, Library Associate at the Blythewood Library, holds a copy of “Eli the Good,” a book about the effects of the Vietnam War on a small, Southern community similar to Blythewood. As a follow-up to the May visit of the Wall that Heals, Smith is inviting residents in the community to read “Eli the Good” this summer and then participate in a community discussion about it on Sept. 22 at 7:30 p.m. at the Langford-Nord House. The read-in is a joint effort of the Library and the Blythewood Historical Society. For questions about the community read-in call 803-691-9806.
