Melvina Jackson, Samantha Keith and Australia Rush dish up prepaid fish and fried chicken dinners for carry out on Saturday during one of several fundraisers the members of Mt. Seir Baptist Church in Blythewood are holding to raise funds for their church’s 12th anniversary on Oct. 23. Members will also be celebrating the 12th anniversary of Appreciation of their Pastor. Rush said the church will host a number of singing groups and will enjoy singing, dinner, worship and many visitors. The church is located at 136 Rimer Pond Road.
