Proclamations were presented to four outgoing Fairfield County Council members at Council’s Dec. 12 meeting evening as they were thanked for their service by the County’s legislative delegation, Sen. Mike Fanning (District 17) and Rep. MaryGail Douglas (District 41). From left: Fanning, Mary Lynn Kinley (District 6), Marion Robinson (District 5), Carolyn Robinson (District 2), Kamau Marcharia (District 4) and Douglas. Kinley and Marcharia were defeated in their re-election bids. Marion Robinson resigned his seat for health reasons and Carolyn Robinson did not see re-election.
