Gerald Roland Lee

BLYTHEWOOD – Gerald Roland Lee, 91, of Blythewood, South Carolina, passed away on June 1, 2017. Born August 13, 1925 in Henagar, Alabama to the late Carl and Minnie Lee, he was the youngest of nine brothers and sisters. In 1943, he was drafted into the Navy, and then on November 27, 1947, he married his sweetheart, Frances Riley. Together they had three daughters: Debbie, Judy, and Sheree. He was baptized as a Jehovah’s Witness in 1955 and continued to serve faithfully until his death.

He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Frances; his sister, Lillian Keenan; three children: Debbie Toney (Duncan), Judy Acanfora, and Sheree Powell; seven grandchildren: Brian Toney (Gina), Angela Acanfora Bolus (Jeremiah), John Acanfora (Candy), Josh Acanfora (Endia), Zach Powell (Meredith), Brianna Toney Dumas (Todd), Bric Powell (Amber); and eight great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held 3 o’clock, Saturday, June 10, 2017 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses located at 1009 Fulmer Road, Blythewood, SC 29016.
