Johnny and Frances Porter, center, served grilled sausage to Brad and Sallie Williams and their son, Brady, 3, during three days of celebrating the grand re-opening of Porter Gas Service in Winnsboro last week. From 9 – 5, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, the Porters invited residents to tour their all-new showroom featuring grills, fireplaces, outdoor kitchens and much more. A steady stream of customers and residents were served free barbecue, hamburgers, hotdogs and sausage grilled on the store’s products. There were a number of door prizes and giveaways including a Holland gas grill. Celebrating 58 years of business, Porter Gas is located at 349 State Hwy 200, Winnsboro.
