Blythewood’s Machine Pitch All Stars made the town proud in August when they brought home the runner-up trophy in the Dixie Youth World Series in Mississippi. On Monday night, Town Council honored the town’s sports stars with a proclamation of their achievements. “We are so proud of these players,” Mayor J. Michael Ross said, “and in our eyes, heart and mind, they are the champions. Well done!”
