BLYTHEWOOD – The Redhawks’ lady tennis team hosted Ridge View on Sept.28, and the Blazers pulled away with the 6-0 victory. Kyndall Ragins fell to Hope Goodwin 6-1, 6-1 and Meera Rogers lost by the exact same score to Aliyah Kelley.
Perry Massey struggled against Yana Udani, and Udani pulled away for the 6-0, 6-0 victory. Kelsi Sharp also went down to Anika Kelley, 6-0, 6-0. Kayla Racine secured the first Redhawk point in three match-ups, but still lost to Ferrin Thompson 6-0,6-1.
Cherokee Bradshaw and Abby Gonzales were shutout 6-0, 6-0 to Kayla Floyd and Ogechi Nitasgwe in doubles.
