WINNSBORO – As the high school volleyball season nears its end, the Richard Winn Eagles are prepping for regional tournaments and playoff time. Before that though, the Eagles had to take on Anderson Christian last week, and Lauren’s Academy on Tuesday.

The Eagles picked up a 3-0 straight set victory over Anderson Christian, but fell 3-0 to Laurens Academy. Richard Winn took the first set over Anderson Christian 25-17, then snatched the match away in the second set, before sweeping them again in the second portion of their tri-match.

The Eagles would not fare as well against the Crusaders. Laurens tallied a 25-14 in the first set and then won the second 25-16 and then lost the final set.

The Eagles look to play in the the SCISA 1A State Playoffs in Myrtle Beach next weekend.
