Paul McCants
BLYTHEWOOD – Paul McCants’s time of 17:18 and Alanie Foster’s time of 20:28 were good enough to earn the Westwood Redhawk duo individual regional 3-4A Championships. There efforts were also good enough to lead the boys and girl teams to third place overall finishes and clinch their spot in the Mid-State Qualifier.

Foster’s run is not only her second region championship in as many years, but it also broke the school record, one that she owned beforehand. Jordan Alexander Coleman put in a respectable 18:26 for the boys, and Leayzie Shiver was second on the Westwood ladies side with a time of 23:31.
