Sailesh, Terry Floyd of IT-oLogy and Cathart
BLYTHEWOOD – Blythewood High School sophomores Samuel Cathart and Abhimanyu Sailesh were recognized at the State Fair for winning the IT-oLogoy Innovation Challenge. Not only did Cathcart and Sailesh win first place in the high school division, they also won the top overall TM Floyd Top Innovator award.
Cathart and Sailesh created a portable element synthesizer that runs on solar and or water power and can be used for tasks such as charging cell phones. The project was a class assignment, but students were encouraged to submit their results to the IT-ology Innovation Challenge.
