BLYTHEWOOD – The weather was winter crisp as Riley Mayfield and Sophia Lynch provided gathering music for the large crowd at Blythewood’s Carolighting on Sunday evening.
The Adult Choir from Trinity United Methodist Church and the Round Top Baptist Church Youth Choir sang traditional Christmas music on the steps of Town Hall.
Blythewood Mayor J. Michael Ross was in his element, emceeing, telling jokes and entertaining the crowd.
Gigi, the Conants’ Dachshund mix, participated again this year.
After the tree was lit, the crowd sang ‘We wish you a Merry Christmas.’ and Santa arrived to the delight of the children.
And once again, it was Christmas in Blythewood.
