SENECA – Second-year Griffins’ tennis coach Syreeta Thompson led the Lady Griffins tennis squad to their first playoff win in five years, and not just that, but they also knocked off a number-one seed.
The Lady Griffins entered the playoffs as a number-three seed, thanks to a senior night win against the Chester Cyclones. They faced off against a very talented Camden team in the first round, but Fairfield took the Bulldogs down to advance.
However, the Lady Griffins fell in the second round to the Seneca High Bobcats in the second round.
