Three Redhawks sign on National Signing Day

BLYTHEWOOD – Three Westwood High School athletic programs were in the spotlight as three senior Redhawks announced their collegiate plans during the National Signing Day ceremony at Westwood.

Montre Miller, son of Marion and Sonya Miller, signed to play football at Kent State University, NCAA Division I – FBS. The senior wide receiver is a three year letterman at Westwood.

Brice Harkness, son of Larry Harkness and Sue DeMarco, signed to the wrestling program at Wheeling-Jesuit University, an NCAA Division II member. Harkness, a three-year letterman, is a two-time Region Champion and finished third in the 2017 State Individual Tournament.

Ethan Barton, son of Tyler and Dawn Barton, signed to play baseball at USC Beaufort, a NAIA member. Barton has played shortstop and third-base for three years at Westwood.
