Skrabak teaches with Carolina Kids Fish

CONWAY, SC – Since 2015, students at Coastal Carolina University, including Logan Skrabak, a major from Ridgeway, SC, have been teaching Myrtle Beach-area elementary and middle school students how to fish as part of a student organization called Carolina Kids Fish.

The organization’s purpose is to educate school-aged children the ins and outs of fishing, including fish identification, tying knots, casting, hook safety and environmental stewardship.

They host several events each semester that invites children to learn how to fish for free. The first one was held Feb. 25, and the others will take place in March and April.
