WINNSBORO – Members of American Legion Auxiliary Unit 16 of Winnsboro will celebrate National Poppy Day on May 25 by distributing poppies until Memorial Day. The Poppy has been worn by Americans since World War I to honor those who served and died for our country in all wars. They are distributed free with the request for donations for ALA veteran programs.
