COLUMBIA – Ridgeway resident and Winnsboro native Carol Woodard recently retired after 36 years with the state of South Carolina, including 34 years with the Department of Probation, Parole and Pardon Services (SCDPPPS).
In a ceremony attended by more than 50 of her co-workers, Woodard was presented a plaque and certificate thanking her for her years of service to the citizens of South Carolina by SCDPPPS Director Jerry Adger.
Woodard held numerous positions at SCDPPPS, including Administrative Manager, Senior Consultant, Director of Victim Services and Human Resources Manager II.
Woodard is a graduate of Southern Wesleyan University and holds a Master’s of Divinity Degree from Oral Roberts University.
