CAYCE – While the Lady Bengals won’t kick off regular season play until Aug. 30, they had a strong showing in the Palmetto Tennis Classic’s preseason tournament last weekend in Cayce. Blythewood played through the 12-team tournament, making it into the finals against River Bluff where they lost a tight 4-3 match.
They squad faces Fort Mill at home at 5 p.m. on Aug. 30.
