WINNSBORO – Esther Powers Gunter, 83, of Winnsboro passed away peacefully on August 3, 2018. Born in Kershaw County, she was the daughter of the late William G. and Annie Powers.

Esther is survived by her loving daughter, Esther Pebbles Melton (Edward); grandson, Edward Melton; granddaughter, Amanda Gunter Robertson; sisters, Annie Douglas, Edna Ruff, Doris Douglas (Morris), Beverly Elledge (Paul), Kitty Rabb (Alex), and Ann Tefs.
In addition to her parents, Esther is predeceased by a sister, Tina Lewis, and brother, William Powers.
A private memorial service was held Aug. 3.
