WINNSBORO – The weather was beautiful, the food was plentiful and the music by Slip Shot entertained one of the largest crowds ever to show up at a Rock Around the Clock Festival. There was something for everyone – a parade, street dancing, face painting (above), stump speeches by political candidates, performances by students, a petting zoo, a vegetable market, many food vendors, and a car show organized by Sam Edenfield that included over 160 cars and trucks. It was a grand, rocking weekend in downtown Winnsboro.
