Laurens bests Lady Eagles

WINNSBORO – The Richard Winn Lady Eagles had a rough beginning to their 2019 portion of the season. The Eagles hosted Laurens Academy to open the year. The Crusaders had the young Eagles’ number from the early going, and they cruised to an easy 51-22 win.

Defense was the name of the game for the Lady Crusaders, and they put the lock down on the Eagles. Not a single a player for Richard Winn broke the double-digit mark. Ruthie Moore led the game in scoring with 19. Blaire Quarles and Reagan Williamson each had 10.Taylor Spires had a team-high six points for RWA.
