WINNSBORO – Two Richard Winn football players were honored over the weekend at the South Carolina High School League’s fall banquet. Pictured right, soph. Zack Taylor, right, and junior Brandon Miller with their HSSR SCISA 8-man All State awards.
In the 2018 season, Taylor amassed 1792 passing yards and 28 touchdowns with 123 completions in 188 attempts. Taylor rushed for 709 yards and 17 touchdowns in 137 carries.
Miller averaged 7.3 yards per carry, collecting 503 yards and seven touchdowns in 69 carries. He averaged 9.7 yards per catch, with a total 107 yards and a touchdown in 11 receptions. Miller led the defense with 124 tackles, 3.5 sacks, two fumble recoveries and four interceptions.
