BHS soccer bests Sumter

SUMTER – The Bengals had a big first half of play in Tuesday night’s conference game at Sumter High School, scoring all of their four goals in the first and taking home the 4-0 win over the Fighting Gamecocks.

Senior captain Paddy Orr tallied two goals in four shots, followed by junior Jerry Finney with one and freshman Martin Bodourov with a goal and two assists. Sophomore Carson Brockwell also picked up two assists.

Sophomores Jackson Gouvin and Jayden Addison split time in the goal. Gouvin finished with one save and Addison with three.

The Bengals, now 5-4, will host Lugoff-Elgin on Friday at 7:15 in a conference matchup.
