BLYTHEWOOD – Westwood and Ridge View faced off for the final time in regular season play last Thursday in a defensive stalemate. Tied at 0 when the last seconds ticked off of the clock, the Redhawks headed into a shootout with the Blazers, and Ridge View emerged with the win.
After a week of no games during Spring Break, the Redhawks will return to game action on Monday when they travel to South Pointe for their last conference game of the season. South Pointe won their last meeting 3-1.
Westwood (9-7, 5-4) will host Ben Lippen on April 24 for their final game of the regular season. Kickoff is set for 5:30.
