BLYTHEWOOD – Westwood Boys soccer emerged victorious on Tuesday night against York. Sai Quewan Bennett, Isaac DeLarosa and Tareek Peart each notched a goal on assists from Clay Woronka, Dajson Howard and Mateo Flores in the 3-2 win over the Cougars.
Felipe Dovales had eight saves in twelve shots on goal and allowed only two goals. Dovales also notched one pentalty kick save.
The Redhawks faced Mid-Carolina on Wednesday, but fell 4-0 to the Rebels. The travel to Lancaster Friday for a conference game and will host South Pointe on Monday at 6 p.m.
