WESTWOOD – The Westwood boys track team claimed the top spot at the Friday Night Lights Invitational in Laurens, and the ladies placed fifth among 11 schools.
Christian Horn earned the top spot in the 400M and Paul McCants finished right behind him in second. McCants came in at second in the 800 and Robert Johnson was a spot back at third.
Riggs Dash finished in second at the 400M hurdles. The 4×400 relay team, comprised of Rayshawn Floyd, Malik Donald, Christian Horn and Paul McCants finished in first. Alanie Foster finished in second for the ladies in the 800 and 1600. Foster, Halle Peniston, Jahmera Trapp and Adaora Okeke clocked in at second in the 4×400 relay.
Sierra McCant claimed the top spot in the jump and her teammate Meera Rogers finished in fourth. Rogers also came in fourth in the pole vault.
