WINNSBORO – Fairfield Central Tennis wrapped up the regular season last Thursday when they hosted region-foe Indian Land. The Griffins honored their four seniors, pictured above, kneeling, prior to the match.

An outstanding regular season landed Fairfield as a two-seed in the Class AAA State Playoffs. The Griffins hosted Union County, a three-seed, in the first round on the playoffs on Wednesday. Scores were not available at press time.

A win would set the Griffins up with a second-round match at top-seeded Chapman on Oct. 28.
