Car wash, law office seek COAs

BLYTHEWOOD – Two businesses have applied to the Board of Architectural Review (BAR) for Certificates of Appropriateness (COA) – Sparkle Car Wash and The Law Offices of Shannon Burnett.

Sparkle Car Wash was scheduled to be heard by the BAR at a public hearing on the Dec. 16, but asked to be deferred until the January meeting. The application, applied for by property owner Marie Berry, is for a location at 209 Blythewood Road, next to the Sharpe Shoppe BP.

Shannon Burnett has also applied for a COA for the building at 193 Langford Road. Her offices are currently located at 109 Main Street in Blythewood.

The public hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 21 at Town Hall, 171 Langford Road.
