Bengal boys fall to Clover

CLOVER – With a season well underway, Blythewood boys soccer lost 4-0 to Clover High School on Tuesday. Jackson Gouvin had nine saves in the loss.

Prior to Tuesday’s game, the Bengals have picked up wins over Cane Bay High School and West Florence High School.

Assisted by KJ Blocker, Blythewood’s Connor Jackson scored Blythewood’s lone goal in the 1-0 win over Cane Bay on Feb. 28. Gouvin was credited with seven saves in the win.

Jackson stuck again in the Bengal’s March 3 win over West Florence. Philip Huang, Blocker and Ryan Hart also scored in Blythewood’s 4-0 win over the Knights. Gouvin had six saves in the win.

The Bengals are scheduled to travel to Fort Mill for a Friday night match at 7:15 p.m.
