BLYTHEWOOD – The Lady Bengals moved to 4-0 on the season with Tuesday’s win over Ridge View High School. Emma Horan, Rachel Truitt, Elizabeth Crawford, Hannah McGrory and Cindy Vann won in straight sets. Ridge View defaulted in doubles.
Last week, the Bengals took down Spring Valley. Myers won 6-4, 6-0. Sophie Carlton won 2-6, 6-2, (11-9). Horan won 6-0, 6-0. Truitt won 6-1, 6-0, Crawford won 6-2, 6-2. The doubles duo of Kellie Wyder and McGrory won 6-3, 7-6.
Blythewood will travel next week. They will head to Northwestern High School on Tuesday before facing Rock Hill away on Thursday. The Bengals will return for home meets on Sept. 29 against Spring Valley and Oct. 1 against Ridge View.
